Shire Caption Contest VI: Septembre edition
Sorry for the waiting, but here he is: this one will last till 31 Septembre (lol??). (with other words, you all 've got at least until the last day of septembre or another one, depends on the entries)

Well folks, I guess our ninth month has already passed by long ago. Excuse me for my unexcusable behaviour and being ofline. I really shouldn't have left open my unfinished businnesses here. (But you know, the sep 2008 edition is a very special one, and so it has to last eight months at least :D) It surprises me that you haven't chosen the best caption comment, but thank you and here are (at last) the winners, anyway: The first place, and the exclusive reward of thirty (30) points goes to: Naira, (whitened out to make it more fun & surprising) with her awe-inspiring comment which I could easily imagine myself.

 Thank you Tinghorka - and congratulations Naira, Lord Glorfindel and Tarcuru and indeed to all of the contributors for your witty posts.
The tribute has been seen to already and I'll leave this thread open a few more days so people can come and have a little look-see and congratulate the winners.
Because things have been rather sleepy around here of late the next caption contest will not be posted for a few more weeks and so this thread will close soon and another will be opened later on when Mistress Naira will be seeing to our picture
 So until then, thank you all for playing and for being so clever!
